Louise Quinlan:

louiseLouise is the founder of BEANS. She has a B.A. (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies and has been working with children and adults with Developmental Delays for the past 7 years, both in a therapeutic and care based setting. From working as a Consultant and assessing children and adult’s development she has gained a vast amount of experience in this area. Although both the children and adults were making progress with the programs, she felt there was something holding them back. It was then Louise looked more into nutrition. She noted that majority of the children she worked with had digestive issues or were fussy eaters. After researching this further she discovered there was a link between poor nutritional status and developmental delays. Often times these children were not absorbing their nutrients as well as they should. Due to this, Louise returned to college to study Nutrition.

Louise also noticed that there was very little support for parents who were worried about their child’s development. BEANS offers consultations to parents to gather information on the child’s development, provide support and give guidance as to where to get additional support or therapies for their child.

Over the course of Louise’s Nutrition Course, she also realised the amount of adults with food intolerances, digestive issues, IBS, infertility, low mood, autoimmune diseases and depression. With that in mind, Louise went off to train in Autonomic Response Testing (A.R.T.). This is a form of advanced kinesiology which can test the body for dysfunction and this allows the practitioner to then tests for ways to bring your body back into proper function, in order to prevent disease and illness.
